KPDNHEP steps up enforcement following high fuel price differences with neighbouring countries

SHAH ALAM, June 17 — The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) has detected an increase in the smuggling of diesel and RON 95 fuel following a hike in prices and the high differences in prices between Malaysia and its neighbours.

Tengku Zafrul: Petrol retail price gap may trigger petrol smuggling

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 — Malaysia’s low petrol retail price could make way for petrol smuggling activities due to the significant retail price difference among its neighbouring countries, said Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

Petrol up 5 sen, diesel increases by 10 sen per litre

KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 — The price of a litre of RON97 and RON95 will go up by five sen, and for diesel, 10 sen, for the period of May 30 until June 5.

RON95 and RON97 petrol up 7 sen, diesel up 6 sen

KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — The prices of RON95 and RON97 petrol will increase by seven sen each to RM1.38 per litre and RM1.68 per litre respectively for the period May 23 to 29.
